Travel with Shayla
When traveling, it is essential to adapt to and respect the cultural customs of the countries we visit. Please follow the rules and guidelines laid out in each country and refrain from confrontation. Being culturally respectful not only enriches your travel experience but also fosters positive interactions with locals. Remember, our goal is to appreciate and learn from the diverse cultures we encounter, enhancing our journey and theirs.
When traveling internationally, unforeseen circumstances are inevitable. These can occur during flights, excursions, hotel check-ins, train stations, and other forms of transportation. It is crucial to remain patient and flexible when such events arise. We will do our utmost to ensure that everything runs smoothly, but some situations are beyond our control. Please allow your tour guide to manage these situations, and remember that a positive attitude can make all the difference. As the saying goes, "A positive attitude can turn a storm into a sprinkle."
Each traveler will receive a digital itinerary detailing our daily destinations and departure times. Any changes to the itinerary will be communicated via text message. It is crucial for each traveler to take personal responsibility for reviewing the itinerary and adhering to the specified meeting times and locations. We cannot delay the group for late arrivals, nor can we shorten any excursion to accommodate individual preferences. We seek travelers who possess a "team player" attitude and prioritize the group's best interests. Efficient time management is essential to ensure your participation in our daily activities. If you miss a scheduled departure, you will need to arrange your own transportation to rejoin the group.
When traveling in a small group setting, you may be traveling and/or rooming with someone you do not know. It is essential that we respect each other's differences and work together harmoniously. As we travel, we should operate as a family unit, ensuring that we stay together and look out for one another. If you notice someone not paying attention or falling behind, please inform your tour guide and offer assistance if needed. Being in a foreign country requires us to be accountable to and for each other, ensuring everyone's safety and well-being.
