Education Revelation DBA Travel with Shayla (hereinafter "Travel with Shayla," "we," "us," "our") offers expertly planned group tours designed to broaden your horizons and immerse you in unique travel experiences. Our trips are curated with a balance of fun, adventure, history, culture, and relaxation, providing our clients (hereinafter "traveler," "you") with memorable journeys.

Agreement Terms: By booking a trip with Travel with Shayla, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which form the basis of our contract with you. These Terms and Conditions include the terms found in our brochures, documents, correspondence, and the terms and conditions of our suppliers. It is essential that you read and understand these Terms and Conditions before making a booking. Please note that these Terms and Conditions contain important provisions, including waivers of liability, class action waivers, venue selection clauses, and notice clauses, which affect your legal rights. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these 

Terms and Conditions.

You confirm that (a) you are of legal age to use our services and website and can create binding legal obligations, (b) you are authorized to act on behalf of all individuals included in your booking and accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf, and (c) the information provided by you or on behalf of your family members is accurate and truthful.

Non-Compliance: If you violate any of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to (a) cancel your reservation or purchase, (b) forfeit any monies paid by you for your reservation or purchase, and (c) deny you access to any travel-related product or service.

Modifications to Terms and Conditions: Travel with Shayla reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time at our sole discretion. We will notify you of any changes via the email address provided at the time of booking. The updated Terms and Conditions will apply to your booking.

Identification: Reservations must be made in the full name listed on your passport that will be used for travel. If you need to make any changes to a name after travel documents have been issued, you will be responsible for any applicable name change fees.

Payments: Reservations can be made online using major credit cards.

Refunds: All payments to Travel with Shayla are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because we have contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that prevent us from obtaining refunds. This policy allows us to offer competitive package prices and provide flexible payment plans.

Roommate Matching: For most tours, female travelers have the option of roommate matching. Roommates will be assigned 30 days prior to the trip departure date.

Travel Documents: Provided full payment is received by the Final Payment Due date, travel documents and instructions will be sent via email 30 days or earlier before departure.

Children:  All travelers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Currently, we do not allow children under the age of 14 to attend our tours. Accompanying adults are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children. Note that many countries have regulations to prevent international abductions. If a minor is traveling with an adult other than their parent(s) or with only one parent, a notarized letter of consent from the non-traveling parent(s) should be carried. 

Payments:

• Deposit: A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is due at the time of reservation. The deposit amount and monthly payment plan will be clearly noted at booking.
• Full Payment: Reservations can be paid in full at the time of booking if space is available.
• Late Payment: If any balance remains unpaid by the Final Payment Due date, a late fee of $250 will be added to your invoice one day after the final payment date.
• Reinstatement of Reservations: If your reservation has been canceled and you notify us within 14 days that you wish to reinstate it, a service reinstatement fee of $300 will be added to your invoice and must be paid in advance to reconfirm services.
• Last Minute Reservations: Reservations must be made no later than 60 days before departure. If requested services cannot be confirmed, payment will be refunded. If confirmed, final payment is due within 24 hours, and cancellation penalties will apply.

Payment Methods: Travel with Shayla accepts all major credit and debit cards (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa).

Refunds: As previously stated, all payments to Travel with Shayla are non-refundable and non-transferable due to our agreements with various vendors.

Reservation Name Changes: Any name changes due to incorrect information provided will incur a $250 per person charge plus any additional supplier fees. Name changes to airline reservations are subject to full cancellation and rebooking, resulting in cancellation penalties.

Automatic Billing Plan: You will be automatically enrolled in our automatic billing plan upon booking. Future payments will be charged according to the schedule provided on your invoice. Automatic billing is available at no extra charge. Your authorization allows us to charge your card and acknowledges your agreement to these Terms and Conditions, including cancellation terms.

Bookings Without Airfare: For bookings that do not include airfare, do not make any air reservations until you receive confirmation of your booking. Your contract for airfare is with the supplier, and we are not liable for any change or cancellation fees incurred.

Chargebacks: In certain cases, you may dispute charges with your credit card company ("chargebacks"). Before initiating a chargeback, please call us at 863- or email us at itravelwithshayla@gmail.com to discuss any concerns. We will work with you to resolve any issues. By using our service, you accept and agree to our cancellation policy. Travel with Shayla retains the right to dispute any improper chargebacks and recover related costs, including attorney fees. Improper chargebacks include, but are not limited to:

• Non-cancellable reservations, regardless of use.
• Authorized charges by family, friends, associates, or third parties with access to your credit card.
• Inconsistencies with the supplier’s product description.
• Force majeure or other circumstances beyond our control.
• Disagreement with the cancellation policy.

COVID-19 Release of Liability: By booking a tour, you acknowledge the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and assume the risk of exposure or infection, which may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, or death. You acknowledge that exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk of travel and cannot be controlled or eliminated by Travel with Shayla.

Due to the uncertainty of travel, your tour may be postponed or canceled, or itineraries may change due to site closures or other restrictions, with no refund provided. Each destination and supplier has its own COVID-19 rules, which may include quarantine, masks, proof of vaccination, or testing. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with these requirements. Travel with Shayla will not be liable for any denial of entry or associated costs.

We strongly encourage purchasing travel protection coverage, including cancel-for-any-reason coverage. Should you fail to purchase travel protection, Travel with Shayla will not be liable for any losses. The terms of this release shall survive any termination or cancellation of this Contract.

Scope/Agency: Travel with Shayla does not provide, own, or control the travel services and products offered as part of your tour. These services are provided by third-party suppliers (the “Suppliers”). The Supplier’s terms and privacy policies apply to your booking, and your interaction with any Supplier is at your own risk. Travel with Shayla acts only as an agent for the traveler in acquiring transportation, accommodations, sightseeing, and other services and is not responsible for any loss, accident, injury, delay, defect, or irregularity which may occur.

Price and Rate Changes: The price of your itinerary is based on known costs at the time of issue. We reserve the right to change prices due to increases in transportation charges, taxes, currency fluctuations, or other factors. If our costs increase, we may add a supplement to your travel price until final payment is received. If the tour does not meet the minimum number of participants, we may cancel the tour or offer alternative arrangements. Any air cancellation will be governed by the carrier's terms. Travel with Shayla is not liable for any additional costs incurred outside of the tour prices.

What’s Included in Your Tour:

• Accommodations: As detailed in your itinerary, with special requests subject to availability and additional charges.
• Tours and Activities: As listed in your itinerary, with mandatory punctuality for all scheduled experiences.
• Transfers: In accordance with your itinerary, with no refund for missed or unused transfers.
• Meals: As indicated in the itinerary, with special dietary requests communicated at booking but not guaranteed.

Changes to Itineraries: Travel with Shayla reserves the right to make changes to itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, or other factors beyond our control. Substitutions of comparable services will be made where necessary.

Airline Reservation Services: Airline reservations may be purchased through Travel with Shayla for travel originating in the United States. Travel with Shayla acts only as an agent and is not liable for any actions or omissions of the airline. Your airline ticket constitutes a contract between you and the airline, subject to the carrier’s terms.

What’s Not Included: Items not listed in your itinerary, including but not limited to international and domestic airfare, checked baggage, passport and visa fees, travel insurance, gratuities, laundry, phone calls, minibar, optional excursions, and personal items.

Tipping Guidelines: Drivers: $5-$10 per person per day. Tour Guides: $10-$15
